A Million Dollar Bet

A pretty well-off friend of mine is betting with his other billionaire friend on which Cathay Pacific Airways' first class seat has the widest compartment space next to the seat, for a case of Petrus - ie, easily a million HK dollar bet whatever the vintage is!

Not bad for the company's product to arouse such a high-value interest from its customers - another convincing evidence that the word-of-mouth social media readily trumps conventional advertising. But the bet perhaps also says something about the appetite for inflight casino.
